Are there laws about dolphins?

The International Whaling Commission (IWC) has passed laws to protect large whale species, but it doesn't have as much power offer smaller ones. Many laws have been passed in countries, but these laws are only at the national level. The Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species (CITES) was created to protect species endangered by international trade. Their list of species includes dolphins.
