Beluga
A
favorite with children, this white marine mammal has a hump on its
back. It can grow up to 16 ft. long, and weigh as much as 2400 lb.
Belugas inhabit the arctic, subarctic, as well as the Pacific and
Atlantic oceans. The Beluga makes a chirping noise, and so is sometimes
called the 'sea canary'.
