Capuchins
are reputed to be among the cleverest of the New World Monkeys.
In the past, capuchins were trained to wear little suits and hats
and collect money for old-time organ grinders. Fortunately, this
sort of thing is rare today. A capuchins home is in the Central
and South American rain forests, where they travel through the tall
trees eating fruit and leaves, as well as birds' eggs, snails, and
insects.
