Yes,
that's a picture of me on the right! I'm nocturnal, which means
I sleep during the day and travel and eat at night. I'm about the
size of a house cat, and have a big bushy tail, ears like a bat,
and teeth like a rodent. I wear my teeth down chewing very hard
things like coconuts, so it's a good thing that my teeth keep growing
all through my life. I'm actually a type of lemur, and I live on
the island of Madagascar.
My biggest problem
is that the forest I live in is being logged and cleared for agricultural
purposes. That's why I'm considered an endangered species, which
means if people are not careful about my home, I may not be around
much longer.
