Fraser's Dolphin

These dolphins are fast swimmers who live in very large groups of 500 or more. It was only in the 1970's that the first living Fraser's Dolphin was seen. They are a very shy creature and, for this reason, very difficult to study. They grow to be about 8.5 ft. long and weigh about 460 lb. They have small fins and flippers.
